Scientists say that insects are limited in size because of gravity and their exoskeletons. They can only get so big before the wieght of the exoskeleton can no longer support them. There is a fly in my room right now that proves them all wrong. It's bigger than I am.

i have thios electric fly swatter thing.. It zaps them... But I use it on PEOPLE.. Or myself.. I am not sure I want to fry a fly with it and then my nipples, ya know??

I have the Oreck Bug Vacuum that sucks the bugs off the wall and zaps them in the Handle. It works o.k...but the battery only lasts about 2 minutes per charge....and when the bug zaps, you can smell it burning. eeeeewwww. But being afraid of spiders, it often saves my life.

I used to be so damn terrified of spiders, i wouldnt walk between trees at night and being as hairy as I am, webs are a freaking nightmare. I HATE them. I did, however, try to over come the fear by putting a book about spiders in, of all places, my reading room (bathroom). What the HELL was I thinking!?!?!

But it did help... A little... Still dont like them, but can now at least catch and release them if they are small enough. But a big one in the house is dead. There is no creature in nature that tolerates the presence of an intruder into its own lair...and for me, my lair/cave/domecile is my house.

Run away little spider... If you come too close, yer dead.
