I am a Queer, Disabled ASL/English/(sometimes) Spanish interpreter living in Portland, Oregon with my parter, The Ruling Reddcub, and our wild cat who suffers from a deplorable excess of personality and is Disabled like me. I am a student of sociolinguistics and write extensively on issues of disability, identity, language and the intersections and overlaps among these topics and others.

When I am not interpreting, you can find me teaching workshops on various professional development topics for ASL/English interpreters, as well as on topics related to the field of disability studies. If I am not doing one of those two things (or writing...or reading), I am probably playing World of Warcraft.
