More mom and Dad Silliness..

M n' D are having their back yard done.. We sat out tonight looking at the new flagstones where the itty bitty lawn used to be.

Dad: "When this is done, I want to have a garden party.. A formal one with black gowns."

Me: "Dad, you'd look horrible in a black gown.. Like a Russian Drag Queen in mourning."

Mom: "Yeah.. Wear a teal gown, it will bring out the color of your eyes."

Dad: "I don't have the shoes for a teal gown."




And we wonder why Steve is twisted??

Oh trust me.. You don't want 'em... They are good for a few laughs, but then Dad goes in and turns on Fox news and screams that it is too liberal. I love them to death, but Dad is a republican politician. Albiet a Queer friendly one.

I think I woulda dun falled off my chair with a conversation like that. Or ran in fear from the aliens that had so obviously replaced my parents. They're 'good' an' all that but they just aren't funny/cool like that. Thanks for the vicaious moment. :-)
