Haven't been posting much.... Not a lot to say... which seems odd, since so much has changed.
The new place is great and I am starting to settle in. After only two years living alone, I am afraid to find that my roomating skills are really rusty. It will take time to adjust.
But I am sure I will adjust faster than Her Royal Highness, The Pirate Tranny Kitty Goddess Afsoun: Bane Of Arachnid Kind And Harbinger Of Podiatric Doom and Helen: The Kitty That Launched A Thousand Ships will. Although there is mostly just a lot of snooty-like ignoring going on, there is also the occasional growling and hissing. So far no major fights though. Knock wood.
The new term started Monday, and so far, I don't have nearly enough hours. I was told there were more coming, but I heard nothing today, so it looks like it is going to be yet another lean few months. You would think I would be used to it by now. Frankly, I am beginning to feel beaten down by it. Maybe that's the point... Things won't turn around until I completely learn how to be poor.
whereispaco is gone.... I took him to the airport at some ungodly hour of the morning this morning so he could fly to Barcelona for the week. He'll be back for a few mere hours in like ten days, but Portland already seems an emptier and more dull place without my grrl.
I am about to go through yet another transformation, I can feel it. One more reason the nickname "Bug" is so apt... like an insect, metamorphosis is part of my life cycle. I wonder what's next?
Stay tuned and pass the tissues.

Date: 2007-04-05 02:55 am (UTC)I am glad you find me an easy roomate so far... You are easy to live with as well. The issues that come up for me are just my stuff and not bad, just not used to them after two years of living alone. I still get startled when I hear you walking...LOL..
Turns out, I actually have too many hours... It's complicated... I'll tell you about it when I get home around 9:30...
