Kbear: "So how's the no smoking thing going for ya?"

Me: "Great!! I barely even think aboout it anymore.. Then BAM! out of the blue it will hit me: I am a non-Smoker!! It's totally wierd to think of myself that way."

Kbear: " I TOTALLY know what you mean.. Every once in a while I'll walk by a mirror and catch my reflection and go OH MY GOD!! I'M BLACK!!!"

She's so wierd and I just totally love her.

Hoo HA!

Strong Work! I myself am finishing my first day without the dreaded ciggy ciggy. If you hear faint screams, that's me.

A big bear hug for you

Oh man.. I totally feel for you.. My first night without cigs, I sat on my bed and CRIED. Literally. I have now gone almost 2 months and I have gone 3 weeks without the patch...It does get better.. And fairly quickly. Just hang in there... And get yourself some cinnimon sticks.. They are cig shaped, you can suck air thru them and it has flavor... and cinnimonis a natural craving killer.

THANKS!

I've quit before. My friend used to say I'm really good at it! LOL I'll try the cinnamon thing! You hang in there, too.

Long story short - my body can't handle smoking and doing other things I want to do. I've even had to grab my inhaler after a particularly vigorous climax. Somethin's gotta change!

That's too bad if it's something you enjoy, but I couldn't agree more that one should listen to one's body! Good on you for taking a hint. :)

My mom has tried for YEARS to quit but never could quite kick the bucket.

Her husband quit before her and I think she's finally got it.

There is a poster at work that describes what a person is likely to feel shortly after quitting smoking, such as sweats, tremors, nervousness, irritability, etc. At the bottom, the poster comments that you've probably not been as healthy in quite some time (paraphrased).

OMG. YES I do mean the habit!

Ya know, I thought for sure I was't getting something quite right, but it's didn't click until I saw that you'd written what I should have said.

It was a long day yesterday.
