SNOW!

Got snow today! Not bad here on the valley floor, but work is over the Sylvan Hill, which is pretty bad, so I called off. Good thing, too, as another terp who did NOT call off and tried to go in to the relay center had an unfortunate meeting with the median on said hill and got stuck.... She's probably still waiting for a tow truck.

So we decided that a day like today called for homemade veggie-barley soup in the crock-pot and since we live next door to New Seasons (a rather pricey hippy-organic-local food store that I LOVE), we headed on over.

Once in the store, The Ruling Reddcub snapped this picture without me knowing.. The camera was on a strap around his neck, and we were joking around...




It strikes me for several reasons: the snow in my beard is really fun (clicky and then clickey again for full size.. it's there), and I can see myself as I look at the guy who is responsible for that gleam in my eyes...
