YAYYY!!! More obnoxious kitty pics!!!!

Afsoun and I are having a good time tonight.. I brushed her a bunch and worked out even more matts.... Now I can sort of get an idea of her body condition.. I can feel her hip bones sharply portruding through her skin... She is eating well now, but I may get her some canned food for a while to put some poundage on her... stewickie wieghed her at 10 pounds, which is about right for a Persian, according to Persian cats.com. She is also sleeping a ton, which I think means that she feels safe enough to catch up on her sleep (by a ton I mean more than 20 hours a day).

She is also "marking" territory by "Sharpening" her non-claws (she is declawed)> And finding various comfy places to sleep.

In this one she is thinking: "Well, the HUMAN DIRT SLAVE Er, I mean.. Ummm, "Daddy" *eye roll*, sit s here a LOT... I had better check it out."



Another thing we have in common...We both like to sleep on bears.

(The eye running is also common and normal for Persians, according to the website.)

They talk a lot about "love at first sight" and "matches made in heaven" and I always thought it was just that -- talk. Now I get to see it in action.

But the poor deprived little kitty -- only *two* bears to sleep on? C'mon now! Is this any way to treat royalty?

She slept on me last night... Which was fun for her.. Made for a restless night for me... LOL...Her food bowl went empty at 3:30 this morning. You should have heard the racket. It's not like she was starving.. She had just finnished a HUGE bowl of food.. But the insult, nay, the horror of having an empty food bowl was overwhelming... She had to wake me up immediatley to remedy the situation...I made her wait until 4:30 when I had to get up anyway.... Her highness is not pleased.
