One of the great things about fertility is that it isn't limited to reproduction/children. It includes fertility of new ideas, creative projects, friendships, personal energy levels, etc. :o)

All very true.. And interesting that you would seperate them... I find that sexual energy can be a gateway to all those things. There is a reason fertility rites tend to be sexual in nature...Tell me more about fertility rites that are other than sexual.. I am interested.. New (To me, anyway) concepts are SO COOL!!*Plops down at your feet to listen*

Nothing specific comes to mind at the moment. However, when doing some kind of full Moon ritual to increase something in my life (i.e., increase my creative juices, monetary assistance in paying off a bill, etc.), I try to remember to specify "for the greatest or highest good for all concerned." I feel that this way, I'm avoiding the possibility of inadvertently "fertilizing" something I don't want to develop.

Another thing I've done is New Moon checks. Within 24 hours of the new Moon, you take a personal check from your checkbook and do the following things:
1.) Where it says "Pay to the order of," write your own name.
2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write "Paid in full."
3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write "Paid in full."
4.) Sign the check: "The Law of Abundance."

DO NOT put a date on the check! Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check! Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there. Try it yourself and see.

I got this from a non-magickal friend. Notice the part "Put it in a safe place and forget about it." That's classic magick, IMO. If you think about it, or talk about it, doubt creeps into the mind and destroys the magick.

Remember, it's not necessarily financial abundance, but abundance in some other area of life. Let me know what you observe, later on. :o)
