One of the positive things about not working as much this summer is that I am able to catch up on my reading a bit.... I finally got around to reading One of Us: Conjoined Twins and the Future of Normal by Alice Domurat Dreger who came recommended from
bearsir and
ishai_wallace.
I love it that I know such smart people who know of such great things....
This was an amazing and thought-provoking book. Seriously, if you are at all interested in Disability paradigm, Intersex, the medicalization of identity, any of it....... Read this book.
