Sick... Sicky sick sick....

I thought food poisoning (late night vegetarian taco salad and hash browns at Roxy's.. Hey.. beating people all night long builds up an appetite!!), but I also have a low grade fever... Has anyone ever heard of having a fever with food poisoning??

Then, Of course, I though bird flu, but I don't see any feathers.. Just the same old fur.

right before Xmas i think around my Bday I had food poisoning and I had a slight fever also

you can definitely have a fever with food poisoning. i hope it runs its course quickly and you feel better soon.

Fever can pop up in the body, no matter what is causing icky symptoms. Rest and lots o' liquids. Hopefully, it will work it's way through fast. Feel better soon.

You can have fever with food poisoning.

Actually, according to the data I found HERE (http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/extension/poison.html) most of these critters show symptoms in 12-24 hours.. And Staphylococcus aureus produces a heat stable toxin (cooking won't help) that makes you icky in 4-6 hours. That's why i originally thoght food poisoning.. Tho I still feel ooky, so I think it is a flu bug anyway, since food poisoning is usually gone sooner, from what Mom tells me.. And Mom is always right. Even when she is mistaken.
