So I was in my DUI group this afternoon..Our normal councelor, Who is FIERCE, was out sick, so they sent in some flunky from another office to cover. WHAT A GOOBER. He spent the first HOUR talking about himself and how he went to get his BS in Pshychology. THEN he was talking about his stint working at a CHRISTIAN rehab center and how they treated people who had other disorders such as Bi-polar and schitzophrenia (Sp?). then he pops out with this gem: " We found that many of these people come from backgrounds and families that practice Witchcraft and use ouija boards." Yes.. He really said that. So I said, "Wait.. you are saying that you found that these things cause organic disorders??" He said yes..I snorted and pulled my pentegram out from under my shirt and glared at him for the rest of the time. I was pissed!! The little voices in my head told me to be. Someone remind me why I live in Concord.

Other than that, I am chipper.. Day 12 without smoking and still no dead people. I am thinking of going to Santa Rosa again this weekend to visit the godkids and family. I am sick of sitting around here. Especially since I gave my 30 day notice to my pot smoking, vodka swilling roommate and he is not speaking to me. WHATEVER

Just your luck to get a Fundamentalist. I glad you took out your pentegram, although he might not have really known its significance. I was a Fundie once, long, long ago, and we never wanted to learn too much about the "occult" -- only enough (like Ouija boards=bad)lest we be lured away from Xianity. Ha!!!

Yeah.. I doubt he even saw me pull it out, what with all that hellfire and brimstone gleaming in his eyes... But, it made me feel better in a passive-agressive TAKE THAT kind of way..LOL...

If "Witchcraft" and Wicca were really evil like he thinks it is, I'd be putting a curse on him right about now.. Lucky for him, I don't do that.

wow...ya got a lot happening...hang in there. the DUI dweeb can bite it..I'm surprised you didn't press further on him after that comment-- but then again- I've been in NYC for the last 2.5 weeks and am feeling a bit more aggressive than usual...

Yeah.. Well..I thought about jumping up and screaming Jibberish at him to make him think I was possessed by Satan, but then I figured.. I have 4 more weeks of DUI school to go and since they have all the power and can make my life miserable, I would just glare and be passive agressive instead. Although, the pretend possession thing may have potential for a future class....

Congrats on creating a healthier living environment for yourself. I had to do that years ago and it isn't easy.
