Soon the Beltane Fires will burn..

It is that happy time of year again.. I leave Tomorrow for The North Bay and the family's Beltane fire and ritual. For yet ANOTHER year, I go alone.. This year, because Luis is in Mexico..One of these days, I may actually have a partner with me to celebrate.. It is a fertility rite, after all!! *Wink*

Here's wishing you all a happy, prosperous and fertile year, and Very Merry Beltane..If you celebrate it.. If not.. Well... Have a great weekend anyway.. It's a sacred time.

Are you aware of any sane, mature, pagan groups out there who are queer identified, but tend to have more a homogenius membership? I enjoy the diversity of most groups, but too often I feel like the odd one in the bunch because I'm the only gay dude.

Same with me. On the whole, I've been disappointed that I couldn't do more with others. And because I've not participated much in the way of ritual, I tend to observe on the inside...for some reason I feel awkward about it...Could be because there was no religion in my upbringing.
