Ahhhh... Ableism.. Alive and well in Portland!

I love working at a community college.... One over hears the darnedest things:


"....Yeah! John McCain has a fake hand! His was chopped off when he was like, a POW.... And Palin has that retarted baby! We can't have leaders like that! What would the rest of the world think if we had a leader with a fake hand and a Vice President with a retarted baby? They'd think we were idiots!"

I am sure I unconsciously corrected some of the grammar.....


Ok... So I don't like McCain or Palin either... But really.... This is just stupid and bigoted.
