faun_fae today, I ordered the black bean omelette. The server asked me if I wanted "The organic free range *Meaningful look* eggs for an extra 75 cents."
Talk about a racket! How are you supposed to say no to that in a resturaunt filled with tragically hip, organo-groovy tree hugging dirt worshipers (That's the new bumpersticker I got for the cowboimoblie today... Tree Hugging Dirt Worshipper)?
"Umm.. No.. Really, I think the suffering of the little caged chickens with thier beaks cut off adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the eggs."
So yeah.. I paid the extra .75... After all.. I'm a liberal, right?
