Breakfast, anyone?
Oct. 18th, 2007 08:48 pmAfter an uneventful, yet fun plane trip with
bobalouche (during which he knitted an entire hat), I am here at Mom and Dad's. We had a great dinner at their favorite restaurant with my Uncle Pat and Aunt Charlotte.
I can't tell you how awesome it is to see them.
Unfortunately, I slept poorly last night, due to nervousness and an ouchie tooth, and so my pain levels today are high. Despite my best efforts, I was not able to hide my pain from Mom and Dad and I fear I have upset them. I can deal with not being able to walk, but I can't deal with making Mom and Dad so upset....
But we all go on...
Meanwhile, Dad is dropping me off at the host hotel early tomorrow morning, hours before I need to be at the conference, and most likely hours before I can check in.... Anyone in SF wanna have breakfast? I am at the Holiday Inn on Van Ness.
For some reason, I am wishing that
whereispaco were here. He would have enjoyed dinner tonight, and he really does need to meet my folks. They would get along famously.
I am so blessed to be rich with such friends.
