It sure would have been nice to have your eldest here tonight...

(before you go there, people, I don't mean for THAT)

As many of you know, I had shoulder reconstruction surgery about 5 or 6 years ago. Celeste's ramshead handle bars put too much weight on my shoulder, so I replaced them with "Bull horn" style handlebars tonight! Including new Shimano brake levers and all new brake cables. It was hard. I swore a lot. THAT is why it owuld have been nice to have adamantine1's bike pro eldest here tonight.

After I was done, I called tarsuss to say nite-nite.. As I was telling him about Celeste's fabulous new bull horn style handle bars, he deadpans: "Does that mean she's a bulldyke now?" You know, I think it does!!! YAY!
