Does anyone know how to change the window that pops up when you mouse over (or select) a user pic? In the pic above, it's the window that says "This is you." What I would like that window to do is to offer a text description of the photo for screen readers.

Any ideas?

Go into your Folder Options (I think that's where), and there's longg list of check boxes. Somewhere down there is one for Alt Tags. Turn it on. Then you can type text to come up as description with photos and graphics. (WheelieTerp, why have you dropped me? New email addy you? you have not responded to my last 2 attempts to contact you.)lizzers@comcast.net

I don't know you and don't know if you're an html noob, but in case you are, when inserting a picture, inside the img tag, you can put a title. You can also put in an alt, which is what shows up when an image doesn't.
Like this:

img title="Whatever You Want To Title Your Image" src="Wherever the Picture Came From" alt="Whatever You Want to Show Up if the Picture Doesn't"

Only with brackets.
This may be more useful for pictures inside of posts.

Looking at the source code on this page, it looks to me like dreamwidth has a feature whereby you can replace dreamwidth code or titles for parts of your site; wherever dreamwidth people do that is probably where you want to go and tweak.
